Bradley Professor Creates International Buzz
You might not find Dr. Kyle Dzapo's recent publication of the works of 19th century Danish flute player Joachim Andersen on a best-seller list. But for flute players and students around the world, Andersen's etudes and other flute works are legendary.
"He wrote pieces that every flute player plays and every flutist around the world knows," says Dzapo, the principal flutist with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra. So her first volume of Andersen's music has created such a buzz that Dzapo suddenly finds herself in demand at an international level for lectures and recitals.
