Erich has designed Scenery, Lighting, and/or Sound for over 40 productions in both the professional and academic realms. He teaches Intro to Design, Lighting Design, Sound Design, Scenic Painting, and Theatrical Production. His most recent works include The Adding Machine, Urinetown: The Musical!, Angels in America: Millenium Approaches, Love's Labour's Lost, Extremities, Anton in Show Business, and Cabaret. Erich holds a B.A. in Theatrical Design and Technical Production from Western Michigan University and a M.F.A. in Scenic and Lighting Design from The University of California, Los Angeles.
