Theatre Students Invade London during January Interim and Blog About Their Experiences
Bradley University theatre students are taking their show on the road this January, rehearsing for their production of Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” in the very country where the world’s most famous writer penned the play. For two weeks, the students will work and study in and around London, the theatre capital of the world.
The students will explore Shakespeare from a historical, literary and performative perspective through theatre viewings, excursions and classroom discussions led by two Bradley faculty members.
The group is sharing its experience through the blog The Tempest in London, which features photos, videos and written reflections from the cast. Visit the site daily for updates.
Follow the exciting blog of Bradley's Department of Theatre Arts students and faculty during their two week study abroad expedition program in London.
The international experience will focus on William Shakespeare and The Tempest.
The Tempest will be performed on the Hartmann Center mainstage during the 3U SHAK3SF3ST in February 2012.
A special thanks to the students for their daily blog and photos of their experiences.
