Bradley Set for Weekend of Shakespeare
Shakespeare Festival
What: Three Shakespeare plays in rotation: “The Tempest” (8 p.m. Feb. 24), “Measure for Measure” (8 p.m. Feb. 25) and “Henry VI” (2:30 p.m. Feb. 26). The plays are presented by the theater departments of Bradley University, Loyola University and Western Illinois University, respectively.
When: Feb. 24-Feb. 26.
Where: Bradley University’s Hartmann Center for the Performing Arts.
Admission: Festival tickets for all three shows are $30/general public; $25 Bradley faculty, staff and senior citizens; and $15 for students. Single tickets can be purchased on the day of performance and are $14 for the general public, $12 for Bradley faculty, staff and senior citizens, and $7 for students. Call 677-2650.
Also playing: “The Complete Shakespeare,” a sendup of Shakespeare’s masterpieces. This play will be performed at 8 p.m. Feb. 23 and 29 and 8 p.m. March 1, 2, 3 and 2:30 p.m. March 4.
