MENC
With more than 85,000 members worldwide, MENC: The National Association for Music Education is the largest association dedicated exclusively to the advancement of music education. Through its many programs, activities, publications, and conferences, MENC works to promote the value of music education, foster the best possible music education programs in our nations schools, and advance music education as a profession. All music educatoin students at Bradley are encouraged to join MENC. This membership enables access to the state music convention which is held each January in Peoria. Additionally, members recieve Music Educators Journal and Teaching Music. Memberships are available in the fall and are good for one year.
