Associate Professor of Music
Kerry Walters is Associate Professor of Music at Bradley University where she teaches Voice, Diction, Vocal Literature and Pedagogy, Music Education courses and directs the Opera Workshop and Women's Choir. She is an active recitalist and oratorio singer in the region and has also presented recitals in Atlanta, New York City, Fredonia, N.Y and Lafayette, LA. A dedicated educator, Dr. Walters was selected to be a National Association of Teachers of Singing Young Teacher Intern and is past president of the Central Illinois chapter of NATS. Dr. Walters has served on the faculty of the Lutheran Summer Music program since 1998 teaching voice and performing with faculty ensembles. She holds the Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Oregon, the Master of Arts in Teaching from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, and the Doctor of Musical Arts from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
