Instructor of Music
Janet Kaizer received her music degrees from the University of Illinois and Bradley University and has completed course work toward her PhD at Washington University in St. Louis. Her musical background includes classic and jazz piano performance and sacred organ music. She has performed as soloist with orchestras and has performed classical piano and organ concerts in the U.S., Mexico and Europe, and she won the title of "World Champion Old-Time Piano Player" in 1984 and 1985. She currently teaches music at Bradley University and is well known for her keyboard performance and improvisational skills at the First United Methodist church of Peoria where she is organist.
