Collegium Musicum, BU’s own “Society of Baroque Musicians,” is open to anyone who can read music and has an interest in playing baroque chamber music in an historically informed manner. Collegium Musicum offers an opportunity to learn baroque performance practice while playing music of the period; to improve musicianship and ensemble playing techniques, playing one-on-a-part without a conductor; and to prepare for performances during, and at the end of, each term. The ensemble rehearses Tuesdays from 3:00-3:50. For all musicians who love baroque music—this chamber music class is for you! For information, please contact Lisette Kielson.
