In addition to orchestral opportunities, students regularly participate in smaller, faculty-coached instrumental chamber groups. Students may take this as a class and learn chamber music techniques and literature. Each semester there are public performance opportunities. Students explore the repertoire for string quartets and trios, and well as string ensembles that include piano and woodwinds. Marcia Henry Liebenow oversees and coaches these ensembles.
