Music
The Department of Music offers one minor in Music. Twenty-four hours are required for the minor. Courses include applied music and labs, music appreciation or music history, music theory, ear training and sightsinging, keyboard skills and music in historical perspective.
Music Minor
Students are required to take 4 semesters of Applied Music courses.
Students must take either MUS 109 or MUS 203.
Students must take 4 hours of MUS 141/341, 142/342, 143/343, 144/344, 145/345, or 146/346.
Students must take 3 hours of MUS 235, 236, 335, or 336.
