Edward Kaizer, DMA
Edward Kaizer holds his doctorate in piano performance from Indiana University where he studied with Sidney Foster. He is a professor of music at Bradley University and Director of Keyboard Studies. He also teaches: Music in its Historical Perspective III and IV; Piano Pedagogy; Piano Literature; Music Appreciation; and is the advisor to the Bradley Piano Prep Program and the coordinator of the Bradley University High School Piano Competition. During his tenure at Bradley University, Professor Kaizer has been a very visible and active musician in central Illinois in the classical and jazz genres. He and his wife Janet keep a busy schedule teaching and performing in the U.S. and Europe. Their most recent tour took them to Germany, Switzerl and, Italy and Denmark. They have a weekly program on WCBU (89.9FM)—Bradley's public radio station— "Jazz From the Hilltop." You can read more about their performances at their website.
