Angela Pratt, Ph.D.
Dr. Angela Pratt is an Assistant Professor of Communication, and teaches in the Sports Communication concentration. Dr. Pratt received her doctorate from the College of Communication and Information at the University of Tennessee. She holds an M.A. from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina, and a B.A. from Campbell University. Dr. Pratt has extensive professional experience in sports communication including posts as Sports Sales Manager for the Greater Raleigh Convention & Visitors Bureau, Assistant Director of Marketing for the University of Virginia Department of Athletics, Public Relations Director for the Raleigh Capital Express (A-League Pro Soccer), and Media Relations Intern for the Charlotte Hornets (National Basketball Association). She also serves on Bradley University's Intercollegiate Athletics Committee, and the Bradley Athletics Gender Equity Committee. An avid distance runner, Dr. Pratt qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
