Assistant Professor
Sara Baker Netzley joined the Bradley faculty in fall 2004. She has a Ph.D. in Mass Communication and Media Arts from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, an M.A. in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois at Springfield, and a B.A. in Communication Arts and Political Science from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Dr. Netzley teaches and advises students majoring in journalism, and she is the adviser to Bradley's chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and Bradley's Anime Club. Her research interests include politics and the media, gender and media studies, the relationship between television viewing and audience attitudes, and the evolution of newspapers in a digital world.
