Senior Graphic Design students enter D&AD Awards Competition
Senior graphic design students pitted their creative abilities against challenges set by international clients as part of the annual Design and Art Directors (D&AD) student awards competition. Six of the entries were juried by Bradley design faculty to be sent on from the University to the competition in London. The six students whose work was selected were Brandon Scott, Laura Hoerr, Nadia LaBostrie, Steven Gingrich, Jessica Salch, and Augie Delmonico. The projects ranged from designing packaging concepts for the Body Shop to designing a unique way of imaging and interacting with music for the clothing brand Diesel.
These projects are only part of the senior capstone graphic design portfolio class (Robert Rowe and Sharon Conlee, instructors). The course will culminate in a portfolio exhibition to be held May 7–10 at the Prairie Center of the Arts in Peoria. The exhibit will feature the senior portfolios and senior projects of over twenty graduating graphic design students.
