BU Grad Jed Schlanger Talks about His Latest Feature
for DreamWorks Animation SKG:
Monsters vs. Aliens
Jed Schlanger graduated from Bradley University in 1996 with a degree in Theatre Arts and a reputation as an extraordinary actor with a flair for comedy. He and his wife Nickella Moschetti (also a BU Theatre Arts grad and a splendid actor) moved to LA and joined Bradley’s thriving Hollywood community of more than 600 alumni. After a series of career-building jobs, Jed joined DreamWorks Animation. In this interview with Dean Jeffrey Huberman, Jed tells how all that theatre training at BU prepared him for a professional life with one of the greatest creative teams in the world. He also reveals how he played a crucial part in the making of DreamWorks’ latest 3-D high tech marvel, Monsters vs. Aliens.
