Art History
Instructors:
The Art History program provides students with knowledge of the contributions that artists and art make to the discipline and to our society. The field involves the study of visual images and objects in various media, in particular, painting, drawing and sculpture, architecture, photography, video and the decorative arts. The program focuses on the historical, cultural, social, and political context of art and encourages the development of analytical and visual skills and an appreciation for differing aesthetics.
Careers:
Appraiser, Archeologist, Architectural Historian, Archivist, Art Critic, Arts Consultant, Exhibit Designer and Museum Director.
